Terms of service
Terms of Service
TFATS Auto Spa LLC doing business as TFATS Auto Spa
Last updated October 29, 2026. Effective upon publication. These Terms apply prospectively as described in Section 26.
These Terms govern our website, digital tools, service bookings and vehicle-care services. “TFATS,” “we,” “us” and “our” mean TFATS Auto Spa LLC. “You” means the customer or authorized representative. Our services include detailing, mobile concierge care, paint correction, ceramic coatings, paint protection film, window tint and related services we agree to provide.
1 Acceptance and applicable documents
We will make these Terms available before you accept a booking or authorize work. Where you are asked to accept these Terms, your affirmative acceptance forms part of our agreement. Browsing the website alone does not authorize physical work, a payment or a recurring plan.
Your accepted estimate, work authorization, service-specific disclosures and written warranty form part of your service agreement. A specifically agreed term for a particular job controls over a conflicting general term here. A separately accepted membership agreement controls that membership. Mandatory legal rights always apply. Our Privacy Policy describes data practices and is not a substitute for any separate consent required by law.
2 Eligibility and customer information
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter the transaction, or act through a legally authorized adult. If you book for a business, fleet, household or another owner, you must have authority to approve the work and charges. Keep your contact, vehicle, access and billing details accurate. Protect your account credentials and notify us of unauthorized use.
3 Estimates and booking confirmation
Website prices, automated answers and preliminary estimates may depend on vehicle size, condition, coverage, materials and inspection. “Starting at” pricing is a baseline, not a final quote. We will confirm the scope, price or pricing method, required deposit and applicable booking conditions before you authorize work.
A request, inquiry or automated acknowledgment does not reserve an appointment unless it expressly confirms the booking through our authorized booking system or team. Estimated completion times depend on inspection, preparation, curing, weather and other disclosed conditions. We will communicate material changes; a guaranteed completion time requires a specific written commitment.
4 Prices and payment authorization
Every service booking requires a deposit equal to 30% of the accepted service total to reserve the appointment. The deposit is credited toward that service. Any existing prepaid credit applied to the deposit will be identified in the booking confirmation so the same amount is not collected twice. The accepted estimate or booking confirmation identifies the service total, taxes, disclosed fees, deposit amount and remaining balance.
The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the job. Payment is not deferred until days after completion or vehicle pickup. We will notify you when the job is complete and provide the invoice. Any different payment arrangement requires our express written agreement before service.
You authorize only the payments identified in your accepted transaction or a separate payment authorization. Saving a payment method does not itself authorize unrelated charges or recurring billing. We will request approval before expanding the scope or increasing the agreed price and will comply with applicable estimate and additional-work requirements. A pricing error does not authorize a higher charge without approval. We will not impose undisclosed fees.
5 Cancellations and rescheduling
To cancel or reschedule without losing your deposit, notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment start time. Appointment times and the notice deadline use Tampa local time. Send notice to booking@tfatsautospa.com or through the cancellation or rescheduling channel identified in your booking confirmation. We use the time your notice is received, not the time staff later responds.
With timely notice, the deposit transfers as a credit toward a rescheduled or replacement TFATS service, subject to the separately disclosed custom-material rule below. If the replacement service has a different price, we will confirm the revised total and any deposit adjustment before booking. This transfer policy does not require you to pay a second deposit on the same credited amount. Refunds required by law remain available.
If notice is received less than 24 hours before the appointment, or you do not attend the appointment, you forfeit the 30% deposit to the extent permitted by law. No additional late-cancellation or no-show penalty is charged. The deposit-forfeiture policy must be clearly disclosed and accepted before booking; it does not apply retroactively to a prior booking without agreement.
Custom materials: Before we order, cut or personalize nonreturnable materials specifically for your vehicle, we will identify the materials and disclose their potential unrecoverable cost for your written approval. If you later cancel or change to a service that cannot use them, even with at least 24 hours’ notice, we may deduct only the documented, reasonably unavoidable cost from the deposit, up to the deposit amount. We will account for supplier returns or credits and reasonable reuse or resale, and transfer the remaining deposit credit. Ordinary reusable stock does not qualify merely because we bought it for the appointment.
If the custom materials remain usable for your rescheduled service, the deposit credit remains applied to that job. A late cancellation or no-show does not trigger a second custom-material cancellation charge on top of deposit forfeiture. These Terms do not authorize cancellation losses above the 30% deposit; any different arrangement requires a separate express agreement before ordering and remains subject to law.
If we cancel a service we cannot provide, you may choose an available replacement appointment or a refund of the unused payment for that service. Our own weather or safety cancellation is not a customer no-show. Charges for work already performed with your authorization are distinct from a cancellation penalty and remain subject to the accepted scope, applicable warranty and law. Any mandatory cancellation, refund or other consumer rights control over this section.
6 Refunds and service concerns
Contact us promptly if you believe a service was not performed as agreed. Please provide the invoice, relevant photographs and a description so we can investigate and arrange an inspection where appropriate. Reporting a concern or accepting delivery does not waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
We will review the facts and any applicable written warranty and discuss an appropriate remedy, which may include correction, re-performance or a refund where warranted or required. We do not impose a blanket “all sales final” rule on physical services. Earned charges for properly completed work remain payable, subject to your legal rights. Approved refunds are ordinarily returned to the original payment method; processing time depends on the provider. This process does not restrict a lawful payment dispute or other remedy.
7 Vehicle condition and inspection
Before service, disclose known repainting, body repairs, clear-coat failure, existing film or coatings, aftermarket glass or accessories, electrical or mechanical issues, leaks, loose trim and other conditions relevant to safe work. Remove valuables, weapons and personal items; secure child seats and tell us if an item must not be moved. We do not undertake child-seat installation or safety certification.
We may document the vehicle’s condition with photographs or video and note existing defects. Pre-existing chips, scratches, corrosion, stains and hidden deterioration may limit results. We will pause and seek instructions if we identify a material condition requiring a changed scope, additional cost or a specific risk disclosure. Condition documentation is not a waiver of responsibility for damage we cause.
8 Work authorization and vehicle handling
Your work authorization permits the agreed service and reasonable handling needed to perform it, including moving the vehicle within the work area. Off-site driving, pickup, delivery, road testing, wheel removal and significant disassembly require specific authorization and appropriate procedures. A general booking does not authorize every available treatment.
We may use qualified employees or service providers to fulfill your booking. If you contract separately with another business following a referral, its agreement governs that separate work. This distinction does not remove our responsibilities for work we agree to provide.
9 Mobile services and site access
Provide lawful access, property or community permission, a safe work area and any utilities or site requirements identified in your booking. We may decline or pause work where weather, drainage, access restrictions, hazardous materials or site conditions make it unsafe or unsuitable. We will discuss rescheduling and any lawful, previously agreed charges. We will not treat our own safety or weather cancellation as a customer no-show.
Rental vehicles, replacement transportation, parking and accommodation costs are your responsibility unless we expressly agree otherwise or applicable law requires a different result. Do not rely on an estimated completion time as a guaranteed rental-return deadline.
10 Detailing and paint correction
Results depend on material condition, prior repairs and safe treatment limits. Not every stain, odor, scratch, water spot or defect can be removed safely. Paint correction removes a limited amount of surface material and may require us to leave defects to preserve the finish. We will explain significant known limitations; descriptions and before-and-after examples do not guarantee identical results.
Matte and satin finishes, existing film and sensitive materials require suitable methods. Machine polishing, aggressive treatment, engine-bay work, biological contamination cleanup and restoration beyond the agreed package require assessment and specific approval.
11 Ceramic coatings and maintenance
Ceramic coatings can improve gloss, ease of cleaning and resistance to some contaminants. They do not make a vehicle scratch-proof, chip-proof, stain-proof or maintenance-free. Paint preparation, product selection, exposure, washing methods and maintenance affect performance.
A stated product duration is subject to the applicable product and written warranty conditions; it is not an unconditional guarantee against all deterioration for that period. We will supply applicable cure, aftercare, inspection and maintenance instructions. Any required paid maintenance must be disclosed with the warranty or plan before acceptance. No lifetime coverage is created by these Terms.
12 Paint protection film and film removal
The accepted estimate identifies coverage, finish, material and any agreed installation details. Film reduces certain surface risks but cannot prevent all impact damage, scratches, stains or paint damage. Seams, edges, relief cuts, wrapped edges and achievable coverage depend on panel geometry and the agreed installation; film is not necessarily invisible or seamless.
Removal from weak, repainted or deteriorated surfaces can expose defects or lift unstable paint. We will disclose known material risks and obtain specific authorization for removal or other higher-risk work. These conditions do not excuse negligent installation, handling or removal. Product claims and installation workmanship are addressed under their respective written warranties.
13 Window tint and glass
Film selection and installation must comply with applicable law, including any properly documented exemption. We will not rely on a customer waiver to authorize an unlawful installation. A customer preference alone does not establish an exemption or guarantee compliance in another jurisdiction.
Existing glass damage, electronics, defrosters, antennas, aftermarket components and prior film can affect installation or removal. We will discuss relevant identified risks. Follow the supplied drying and care instructions; temporary moisture or haze may occur during curing. Persistent concerns should be reported for inspection. Heat-reduction descriptions are not a promise that a vehicle will remain safe for unattended people or animals.
14 Written warranties and claims
Any TFATS workmanship warranty and any manufacturer warranty are separate commitments with their own stated coverage, term, conditions and claim process. We will make applicable written warranty terms available before purchase as required and provide relevant documents after service. Manufacturer coverage depends on its terms and eligibility; we do not promise coverage it has not granted.
No general digital-service disclaimer in these Terms cancels an express service promise, written warranty or non-waivable consumer right. Contact booking@tfatsautospa.com for service or warranty assistance. We may request a reasonable inspection and records relevant to the claim, without imposing a deadline or condition that unlawfully eliminates your rights.
15 Memberships and recurring care
Concierge plans, memberships, multi-vehicle arrangements and prepaid packages require a separate accepted agreement identifying included services and vehicles, cadence, term, payment schedule, renewal, cancellation, refunds and any restrictions. These Terms alone do not enroll you, authorize automatic renewal or establish an early-termination fee.
Where renewal or recurring charges apply, we will provide required disclosures, obtain appropriate consent, send required notices and offer a legally compliant cancellation method. A general inquiry or conversation with an automated assistant is not consent to a paid recurring plan.
16 AI assistants and automated communications
You may encounter automated or AI-assisted tools through our website, Google or other supported channels. They can help with general service information and route inquiries. AI answers may be incomplete or incorrect. A preliminary recommendation, estimate or acknowledgment is not a confirmed booking, final vehicle assessment, warranty amendment or approval of additional work.
A booking or transaction completed through an expressly enabled authorized system is governed by its actual confirmation and accepted terms. We remain responsible for our own applicable obligations; describing a tool as AI does not remove legal responsibility for our representations or transactions. Ask our team to confirm vehicle-specific suitability, coverage, final pricing or an important service commitment.
Do not enter card numbers, passwords, government identifiers or other sensitive or confidential information in general chat. Use designated secure payment and customer-service channels. Third-party AI services may process prompts and responses under their own policies, including Google’s policies when you use a Google-hosted agent. Our Privacy Policy explains TFATS data practices. Contact booking@tfatsautospa.com if you need a person or another way to obtain assistance.
17 Electronic messages and consent
We may communicate about your inquiry, appointment, approved work, invoice and service support through the contact channels you provide, as permitted by law. Marketing texts, automated marketing calls and other communications requiring consent use a separate consent process; accepting these Terms is not blanket marketing consent. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchase.
Follow the unsubscribe instructions in a marketing email or reply STOP to an enrolled text program to opt out; contact booking@tfatsautospa.com for assistance or a preferred service-contact method. Message and data rates may apply where disclosed. Recording or transcribing calls requires any legally required notice and consent before it begins; these Terms alone do not supply that consent.
18 Privacy and Shopify
Our website is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes information when you visit or transact through the site. Information may be shared with Shopify and other providers, including providers in other countries, to operate and support the services. Depending on enabled features, Shopify may also process interaction data to provide enhanced services drawing on activity with other merchants and Shopify.
Our Privacy Policy describes our actual use of website analytics, booking systems, payment providers, messaging and AI tools and the choices available to you. Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy is at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers and its privacy portal is at https://privacy.shopify.com/en/. Third-party services have their own applicable policies. Our sales and physical services are provided by TFATS, not Shopify or Google.
19 Photographs and customer feedback
We may use service-condition photographs and records to document work, quality and claims, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Public promotional use of identifiable customer information or vehicle images requires appropriate permission through a separate process. A work authorization is not blanket publicity consent.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us permission to use it as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry or provide service. Any broader promotional use will follow the permission obtained. We do not prohibit honest reviews, penalize lawful criticism or require a favorable review as a condition of resolving a concern.
20 Website content and acceptable use
TFATS content, branding and other protected materials belong to us or their respective owners. You may use the website to learn about and obtain our services for yourself or an organization you represent. Do not copy protected material for unauthorized commercial use, impersonate others, misuse personal data, introduce malicious code or interfere with security or service availability.
Assistive technology and authorized automated tools are permitted. Automated access must respect reasonable technical restrictions, protect customer data and not submit unauthorized transactions or evade security measures. We may restrict abusive access while preserving applicable customer rights and providing reasonable assistance alternatives.
21 Website availability and third parties
We take reasonable steps to keep digital information current but cannot promise uninterrupted, error-free access. Links, integrations and optional third-party services may have separate terms. For digital information and functionality only, we disclaim additional warranties to the extent permitted by law. This is not an “as is” disclaimer of physical workmanship, express warranties or mandatory rights.
Events beyond reasonable control may delay performance. We will communicate material delays, take reasonable steps to reduce disruption and address rescheduling or unused payments under the applicable agreement and law. This provision does not excuse amounts lawfully due or responsibility for our own conduct.
22 Responsibility and limits
We are not responsible for a pre-existing condition or loss caused solely by a customer’s undisclosed condition, unauthorized third-party work or failure to follow reasonable supplied care instructions, to the extent that condition or conduct caused the loss. These Terms do not release us from damage caused by our own negligent work or handling.
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable under these Terms for indirect or consequential losses that are not reasonably foreseeable consequences of its breach. This provision does not limit remedies under an applicable written warranty or liability for personal injury, physical vehicle or property damage caused by negligence, gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited. No general service-price liability cap is imposed here.
23 Disputes and governing law
Please contact tjf@tfatsautospa.com with a dispute so we can attempt to resolve it. This invitation does not impose a mandatory waiting period, shorten a legal deadline or prevent a complaint to a regulator or a lawful payment dispute.
Florida law governs, without applying conflict-of-law rules that would displace mandatory protections. Subject to non-waivable venue rights, disputes may be brought in the state courts in Hillsborough County, Florida, or, where federal jurisdiction exists, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division. Nothing here requires arbitration or waives a jury trial, a small-claims option or rights that cannot be waived.
24 Suspension and lawful collection
We may refuse or suspend unsafe, unlawful or abusive activity or materially breached service arrangements, consistent with applicable law. We will address earned charges and unused payments under the accepted agreement and legal requirements. A website suspension does not erase an existing warranty or refund obligation.
These Terms do not themselves create a lien, authorize sale of a vehicle, permit unlawful retention of a vehicle or impose storage, collection or attorney fees. Any such right must arise under applicable law and a valid, properly disclosed agreement where required.
25 Severability and agreement
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply to the extent possible. A failure to enforce one provision is not a waiver of later enforcement. These Terms and the applicable accepted transaction documents describe our agreement for their subject matter; they do not eliminate enforceable express promises or mandatory rights. A transfer of our business or use of a provider does not by itself remove obligations already owed to you.
26 Changes and effective date
We will identify the effective date of the published version and give notice of material changes as required by law. Revised terms apply prospectively; we will not retroactively change an accepted service price, cancellation condition or warranty by editing this page. Where renewed acceptance is required, we will obtain it. Prior accepted terms continue to govern existing commitments unless a lawful change is agreed.
